Darkside started in a Berlin hotel room, when Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington, his guitarist, were touring in Europe last summer. Back to New York, they continued the recording sessions in a dark basement in Brooklyn and released the Darkside EP from Nicolas Jaar’s Clown and Sunset imprint. On December 1st 2011 at Music Hall of Williamsburg, this new project was showed to the world for the first time.
