Ir a um lugar pela primeira vez sem nenhuma indicação é sempre um tiro no escuro…olhando pelo site, tudo parece ser muito bom, mas quando se chega no lugar, é que a gente percebe que as coisas não são bem como pareciam ser…foi o que aconteceu comigo quando fui ao Skyroom.

Quando estava fazendo uma pesquisa básica na internet e vi o site do Skyroom, pensei “nossa, esse rooftop tem uma vista linda, deve ser demais”. Na minha opinião, as únicas coisas que se salvaram no Skyroom foram a vista e os drinks (que para a minha surpresa, em uma festa open bar, o barman foi muito generoso nas doses de vodka e whiskey). O restante deixou a desejar: mesmo com 2 andares, o ambiente era extremamente pequeno, só existia um único banheiro com apenas 3 sanitários para serem utilizados entre homens e mulheres, o segurança da entrada era muito grosseiro e gritava com as pessoas e o barman de um dos bares era muito devagar.

O gênero musical predominante foi o hip hop e o pop-rock, bem, mas bem antigo mesmo (sem brincadeira, tocou até La Bamba do Ritchie Valens)…então como amante de música eletrônica, realmente não gostei nem um pouco.

Definitivamente, não voltaria lá.

Going somewhere for the first time without any reference, it is always a long shot…looking at the site, everything seems very nice, but when you arrive at the place, it is when you realize that things are not how they seem…it was what happened to me when I went to Skyroom.

When I was doing some research on the internet and I saw Skyroom site, I thought “wow, this rooftop has a great view, it might be awesome”. In my opinion, the only good things about Skyroom were the view and the drinks (for my surprise, in a open bar party, the barman was very generous with vodka and whiskey shots). The rest was just awful: even with two floors, the place was extremely small, there was only one bathroom with only 3 toilets to be shared among men and women, the security guy at the front door was very rude and yelled with the people and the barman of one of the bars was very slow.

The predominant music genre was hip hop and very, very old pop-rock (no jokes, they even played La Bamba of Ritchie Valens)…so, as electronic music lover, I really did not like it.

Definitely, I would not go back there.
