Unlike the Brazilian version of Valentine ‘s Day which is celebrated only by couples on June 12th, one day before of Saint Anthony’s Day (“the matchmaker” saint), Valentine ‘s Day is celebrated by couples, families and friends on February 14th, Saint Valentine’s Day. Besides the traditional gifts (such as flowers , chocolates, jewelry…), many Americans exchange cards, candy and everything else that is in heart shape, no jokes lol!
